Hosted at Park Imperial South—Robbie’s and my home since 2019—this iconic mid-century complex, a designated California historical landmark designed by Barry Berkus, reflects the spirit of Palm Springs modernism, where dramatic rooflines, open space, and desert living come together. Originally part of the city’s architectural evolution, it remains a quiet landmark of thoughtful design and community. Join me as we kick off the weekend, get acquainted, and settle into Camp Jared—properly.Cocktails and Light Nibbles to be served.

CAMP JARED DESERT CLIMB HENDERSON TRAIL HIKE

FIELD TRIP LOCATION:  33.793523, -116.514940 (Araby Cove, Palm Springs, CA) 

CLOTHING ATTIRE: WORK OUT CLOTHING AND HIKING SHOES 

A guided morning climb through the desert hills—part nature walk, part gentle expedition. The Henderson Trail winds through open terrain and native landscape, with golden light, fresh air, and sweeping views leading the way. Expect a steady, feel-good ascent designed to wake the body, clear the mind, and channel your inner Camp Jared explorer.Parking Available on Site

Bicycles are available through the hotel for our use. For those looking to explore, architectural walking or biking tours of Palm Springs can be arranged through the front desk.

A curated Camp Jared escape through the high desert—beginning among the boulders of Joshua Tree, dropping into stillness at the Integratron, and closing with cocktails, dinner, music, and a little mischief at The Copper Room!

Stop 1 –Desert Frequencies

Location: The Integratron
2477 Belfield Blvd Landers, CA 92285A private sonic meditation in the high desert—designed to restore, rebalance, and gently reset. Set inside the Integratron, a 1950s structure designed by aliens for acoustic resonance and restoration! I’m serious. 

Stop 2 – Camp Jared Dinner 

Location: The Copper Room

A step back in time—martinis, live music, and desert nightlife steeped in vintage soul. Originally a 1950s hangar-side lounge, The Copper Room channels the era of the Rat Pack—when cocktails were strong, music was live, and the desert drew a glamorous, off-duty crowd. Hosted by my favorite Californian transplant…Daisy.
